Applying social cognitive learning theory to the application of group support systems (GSSs) in classroom settings

چکیده

This paper utilizes social cognitive learning Iheoly to guide (and explain) the development of prototype educational experiences for information systems concepts. The paper applies the majorfiamework of social cognitive learning theory its recognifion of the reciprocity and interaction among cognitive, behavioral, environmental, and physiological/ aff’ective influences. In this learning process, it is argued that people learn porn a variety of experiences and j?om the observation of the actions of others.[9] This paper utilizes social cognitive learning rheoly to explain the structure for a MIS educational experience, and applies the GSS in a course module with specific learning objectives. Finally, the paper describes a MIS classroom experience (a module covering systems analysis [SAJ methodology) which has been used to apply the GSS to pmtotype MISproblems (working scenarios with questions and organizational data).
